This quote is confusing as hell. I honestly think it is about the next generation of kids not being able to know things that the adults of this generation know. We are usually on our phones to look things up so we don't even need books, and if you do need books you could just get it on our kindle. I feel it means that later in this generation we will be going down thanks to new technology, i don't even think half of the kids here know what a thesaurus is. I agree with the quote because i feel the next generation will be not as smart with the recent one, and will probably start talking in text speak.

This quote means that if we don't have stories then we might not learn about the past. They might know why they are here. This quote is both confusing and not confusing. This quote is about the next generation will be different from us. I agree with this quote because I think the next generation won't have to use books, etc.

I believe this quote has a point even though it was confusingly said. I think it is trying to to say everyone tells stories and most are forgotten even though it was important to us at one point in time. I also think it is trying to say that it is good to tell a story when you have one because it will be forgotten unless you tell another that may remind you of what you had thought at one point in life and if they agreed with your thought or not.

the quote means if stories aren't told then no one knows about their family and the past then no one learns from their mistakes and it keeps going and going but if they are told people learn from the past and people keep their generations going and if generations don't move on the world slowly dies

this quote means that if we don't have stories we cant learn about the past. we learn about things that's happened in the past through stories. the stories help us better understand how people lived in the past. if we don't tell our stories we wont be able to share our lives and how we lived. if we don't tell our stories we can forget about our important memories. then if we forget they wont mean anything anymore. the memory goes away. I agree with this quote because the next generation wont know about how our lives were and if we don't tell stories its kind of like we were never here in the first place.

To me this quote means that if no one takes the time to read someones body language, look at someones art, listen to someone when the speak and/or even read a book that person wouldn't know what is around them and if you don't know whats around you , how could you know who you really are if you're not listening to others and this also why i agree with this quote.

i do agree with this quote. Stories will die if someone doesn't tell it or someone doesn't show it. If a story isn't told no one will know it and never learn for it. Stories tell something they have a meaning. Without it you would never understand the true meaning of it and you wont learn from it . Stories have some sort of background and the show something they are ment to be told so people can learn. No one will know how to respectful or be themselves without a story showing them or their background. No one will know about their past family members or the past of the civil wars ect

This quote means that if stories don't get told and dont carry on they'll die out. These stories might come from the past and if you forget about them you forget about the past and whats happened before us. This quote is in a way confusing to understand but i do agree with it. I think it might apply to the class later on in the year so that we can look back and tell people how much we've learned or improved in our learning.

I think this quote means that if story's aren't told no one will ever hear about them. The stories she's talking about I think are stories about people lives. If no one hears about them no one will learn about the good information story's have to tell you. Also some story's have a lot to do with things that happened in the past and its good to know stuff like that.

I think this quote means that people have to tell any kind of stories to people so that they don't forget where they came from or why they're the person they are today. This could also mean about past history experiences that have changed the world. I agree with this quote because i feel like people should know who you are and where you came from. I also agree with this because people need to hear historic stories in order to stop bad moments to happen again.

this quotes means that if we dont tell stories they will get lost. it is important to tell stories because if we dont we will forget about them. if someone tells a story you can learn something new about a person. i do agree with this because i think its important to remember memories. i do think it is confusing at first until i really thought about it.

This quote sounds like it was said by a Chinese philosopher 1000 years ago because it is describing stories as history. I think the quote means that stories are history about people and we need read and understand stories to understand ourselves.

In my opinion i think this quote means that we would be lost without stories, it was a little confusing. I do understand that we're supposed to learn about past stories and stuff but i disagree. I feel like if you really care about it then it shouldnt die or be forgotten. I guess it has a lot to do with this class, i dont know though, it was a hard quote to understand. I also think in life you have to tell a story about yourself and your life, and make sure its a good way for people to remember you.

I think this quote means when stories aren't told or they are forgotten, When they are forgotten they no longer mean anything. It means that if you tell a story it will be passed on but if you don't it won't be.
